Jaw Dropping Amazement

Dear Ones:

I am busting at the seams to share this morning. As some of you may know our family has had a transportation need for some time now. This became an even bigger issue recently when the transmission went out in our minivan. We were given a price for a new transmission or a used one. The used transmission price was above what we could even sell the van for so we decided to hold off until tax return and to see what we could get at that time. We daily searched craigslist and cars.com to see what we could get for our money and always came away a little bummed that what we could afford always had so many miles on the vehicle.

Saturday, we received a totally anonymous letter in the mail. It had no return address, it was typed and not hand written and inside was a cashiers check for a large sum. It encouraged our family and the journey we have been on. It took our breath away and gave us renewed hope to provide a nicer vehicle for our family. It was such a WOW God moment. A real faith BOOST! Yesterday, we were able to travel to NC and bring home a new to us vehicle that is so far above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. It fits our family. It has low miles. It is the vehicle we would have dreamed about and now it is sitting in our garage. We keep going to look at it because it is hard to believe it is real.

I hope our donor sees this post and knows how incredibly thankful and blessed our family is for their gift. Every time we go somewhere we will be reminded of our heavenly fathers love and faithfulness. The vehicle is in such good condition that we will have that reminder for years to come. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

Finally, I have to thank my BBFF and her family because when I told her we were planning on making the trip to NC yesterday she offered to take on my 6 pack and it made the whole process a million times more pleasant for Eric and I. I love it when people volunteer their time to watch the kids and take the burden of asking off our shoulders. I also love how she LOVES my kids and not just watches them. I know this is true because when we asked who wanted to go with us or go to her house I got a unanimous emphatic answer to go to her house. It does a Mama's heart good. So again THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

Rejoicing today,
