This is where...

This is where my Noah sat last night for over an hour.
This is our computer desk chair. If I would have had my wits about me, I would have captured a shot of the action. Last night on his own he searched and watched you-tube videos about orphans all over the world. Notice the globe on the floor next to the seat. Once he watched a video he would then find the country on the globe.
This precious boy of ours has a heart for orphans, for adoption, for a sister. I hope for the day he gets to meet her.

We Question

We Question
Where do we go from here?
Father God we need you to be near
This is a desire from deep inside
It's very hard, this roller coaster ride
We know we have a daughter, and our boys have a sister
Father God, you know how much we miss her
We need your wisdom from above
We need your redeeming love
You know how much our hearts ache
How much longer will we have to wait?
Sometimes we feel at the end of our rope
Lord Jesus, please refresh our hope
Father God help us to trust
Oh how we need you, so we must
If in us, there is any sin, then please forgive
Our little Mercy, Father we ask you give

Party @ 2AM

Does this look like a party to you?
This doesn't either.
My sweet little Woo Doo had us up last night at 2:00 AM after losing his cookies. It is unbelievable how much can come out of one little kid. Hence the laundry pile and stripped bed above.
I praise the Lord that he is feeling better now and we did not spend the entire snow day at home cleaning up vomit.

comfort food/MMKM

Dear Ones:
This weekend was a struggle emotionally. Just a lack of hope where the adoption is concerned. I am feeling better today. Church was exactly what I needed yesterday. I know people are praying. All though I don't feel 100% where I would like to be.
Saturday we went for some comfort food. There is a restaurant that I LOVE called the Homplace. They serve a family style buffet of southern home cooked food. It was a nice escape of what weighs heavily on our hearts and minds.

My Noah took the picture and Elijah was on a comfort snow tubing trip with a youth group.
Here is the spread. It was sooooo good.

Todays MMKM event features Timewise Firming Eye Cream. I use this stuff every night. A luxuriously rich eye cream so advanced it firms, brightens, provides intense moisturization, plus minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. Order from MY PERSONAL WEBSITE before midnight tonight (1-25-09) and get this item for 10% 0ff. Shipping is always free.
