Our Anniversary and some news to pray about

Dear Ones:

I can not believe Eric and I have been married for 17 years. For sure each year gets better and better. My hubby and best friend took me away for the weekend. This does not happen very often. So when it does it is extra special. Due to some generous folks we started the weekend with the whole family going to the VT football game. We had tickets just given to us and for that we are so thankful. It was fun even though the Hokies Lost :(

Then after arranging childcare we were off just the two of us to see the Biltmore. It was just so much fun. I love that man of mine!

I also have some news to share and ask for your prayers in this phase of our journey. We have prayed and decided to put our house on the market. We have an contingent offer on a place much closer to our boys school. We have until Dec. 15th to sell and there is a kick out clause so someone can come behind us and kill the deal if we can not come up with a plan in 96 hours at that point. So the planets have to line up you could say. Why we have decided this is:
  1. Lower our mortgage
  2. pay off adoption debt
  3. Be closer to school and save on gas
To overall be in a better financial place sums it all up. We are praying for doors to be wide open or slammed shut. And to glorify God whatever the outcome. So please join us and I will keep you posted!

  1. Happy Anniversary! I'm glad you had a great time.

I'm praying your house sale will go through as planned. I understand your reasoning for selling as we did the same thing two years ago.

  2. Anniversaries are great!! I've never been to the Biltmore and I would love to go someday-maybe when we hit 17 years :)!!!

  3. I will be praying for your home to sale. Please pray for us as well because we have put our house on the market. Whene we sell we can pay off our debt and then move closer to My Dad so I can help with my Grandpa who lives with my Dad. Housing is also cheaper where my Dad lives which would help as well.

  4. Praying the house situation works out. Happy Anniversary.

"As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord."
