Out of the mouths of babes...

Dear Ones:

I wanted to share some encouragement that came to our family.
Last weekend our oldest boys Elijah and Noah went on a church discipleship camp. When they came home they had lots to share about all the fun they had. They also had some wonderful God moments to share. One that particularly blessed them was during a time of "listening" to the Lord. The children were asked to just be quiet and see if the Lord spoke to them. Through tears my boys shared what was "said."
One of the girls, Brittney turned to our boys and through tears herself said the Lord told her "Everything about our adoption was going to be OK."
This so ministered to our boys because this has been a faith journey for all of us. They themselves could not hold their emotions as they shared how the Lord spoke to his children. Then another boy, Zach said "he got an image of our family and I was holding a baby girl."
What a wonderful encouragement and confirmation for our family.

"You have taught children and babies to sing praises."
Matt 21:16

  1. This was a joy to read this morning. That's awesome!

We haven't left for our trip yet... maybe over the weekend... Mia is still a little sick, but getting better!

  2. That was amazing. Something to treasure for sure. Very cool, too, to see what young men of God you are raising up. Mercy is one lucky little girl to have 4 big brothers waiting for her. Her dates are in big, big trouble.

  3. Thanks for sharing. This is truly a great thing.

  4. I have very much enjoyed reading your blog. I would be happy for you to follow our journey:) Thank you for allowing me to follow yours.
We have three boys and one that order.
